Digital X-Rays to catch problems and potential concerns

This is focused beam of x-ray particles through bone which produces an image on special film, showing the structure through which it passed. This gives the familiar black and white images that doctors and dentists use to diagnose problems. Digital x-rays are a necessary part of the diagnostic process, and not using them could lead to countless undiagnosed oral diseases. Without an x-ray of the whole tooth and supporting bone and gum tissues, there is no real way to detect infection, decay, or pathologies that require attention. X-rays allow your dentist to catch problems and potential concerns before they become catastrophic to your mouth.

In our office we use digital radiography which allows us to take x-rays using 70% less radiation than conventional x-rays. Although radiation is a very real concern, our office takes every precaution to ensure that your x-rays are performed in the safest of manners. These x-rays are used on an as-needed basis in order to deliver the best care to every patient.
